Favourite Potted Cheddar Cheese Spread (Illustration)

Stupendous when spread atop any wafer cracker or traditional butter cracker.

Potted Cheddar Cheese Spread

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Black Diamond Extra Old Cheddar, cubed
  • 1/3 cup Beatrice sour cream
  • ¼ cup Lactantia salted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • freshly cracked black pepper to taste
Preparation
  1. Place cubed Black Diamond Extra Old Cheddar in bowl of food processor fitted with metal blade. Cover and process until smooth. Add sour cream, butter, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard and process until fully blended. Add pepper to taste.
  2. Move into a small bowl, cover, and refrigerate overnight to blend flavours.
  3. Allow mixture to stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before using as a spread for Original Ritz or Triscuit Crackers.
